Fair play to him for leaving because he wants to play first team football, can't knock him for that but can we now perhaps stop this notion that if you cut mackie he would bleed blue and white???
Exactly... why not try to win his place back?

limited player and the fact we are happy for him to go says to me the club are fairly confident of getting in another striker.

Will be a really good signing for Forest. I think they will have a good season, good outside bet for top 2.

This transfer window has all the ingredients of a complete cucking fock up....again.
Mackie is a ****** good championship player, if he goes to Forest they've got a gem.
2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!

2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....

2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....

          2015/2016, average at best.....

          2016/2017, same old, same old....

          2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!

Its the hope that kills you!

A very good squad player Kev but lets not get too carried away.

If we picked the side together neither of us would start him mate.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Anyone would think we're losing Maradona! What's all this wailing and gnashing of teeth?

Yes, he always gives plenty of effort but I think he's a bit short of ability.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

I disagree I think Mackie is a great championship player and I can't understand why he's not in the side.

I would rather Mackie than SWP or Hoilett.

It's just a natural reaction to losing Hooper, fans are getting carried away so totally agree

Maybe not a definite starter WeAre but I'd have him on the bench for every game and he'd be well ahead or a few other 'superstars' for a place in the starting eleven as the injuries and bans take their toll. How many times did he tear at a tired defence in our Championship winning season? I'd also use him as a good example to all the other lazy barstewards who are happy to sit on their ar5es and take home an ill gotten wage.
If he goes, I wish him all the best and I think we'll miss him on a good many occasions this season.

He'll do well at forest and he'll be promoted.

Mackie was ****e last season missing guilt edge chances at pivotal moments in the season...first game of the season against Swansea the injury time against Arsenal at the Emirates and there were couple more in between which escape me right now. Often he was seen pissing about on the bench last season with the likes of Rob Green, this to me didn't strike me as a player who was focused last term.

Worth a least £2million if not a bit more, time to move him on thanks for the memories

So you'll be throwing a wedge on Forest to get promoted then?
