What a stupid post. Good luck to Walton, hope he can ressurect his career after a poor run of injuries.

As for QPR players going downhill after leaving...Sir Les, Trevor Sinclair, David Seaman, Paul Parker, Peter Crouch...there's half a dozen England internationals for starters.

go back a bit further and Clive Allen and Chris Woods didn't do too badly either.

            Silly Post!!!!

While I do feel it's a shame to see somebody with Walton's talent being left to rot in the reserves, it's happened too many times at too many clubs for it to be a coincidence.

He's been at Charlton, QPR and now Plymouth on a permanent basis and on each ocassion he has ended up away from the first team. He has also had loan spells at Hull City, Cardiff, Ipswich and Blackpool ad none of those clubs showed any interest in making the loan moves permanent.

Begs the question, what is this guy doing to make himself so unpopular with teams and their managers?

Ooh controversial....I'd argue that Clive Allen didn't progress one iota after leaving us. Only got near the England team once more.

Woods was a kid when he left and wasn't up to the standard we needed at the time.

Allen didn't make the England team because Lineker was there, but he did hit 52 goals in a season for Spurs and won an FA cup winners medal.

Woods was a young keeper when he left, but he went on to win the Cottish title at Rangers and was England's keeper for a few seasons, so I still say those went on to better things after leaving QPR.

Will be difficult Pete, considering all the dross that has been signed by the Puppet Master. The likes of Serge Branco, Egutu Oliseh, Armel Tchakounte etc would never have lit up Hampton & Richmond, let alone QPR.

Think the record shows, over the past 2-3 years we don't sell our best players either, despite interest.

Blackstock being the only decent one we have sold.

We sold Cookie when he was just about our best player. And, yes, we have him back now but nothing like the player he was… yet.

                              Pete,

the players at QPR during the last 5 years have mostly been rubbish or coming to the end of their careers.

Cook was sold and perhaps woyuld have gone onnto better things had he not suffered a serious knee injury.

Time will tell, if Camp and Blackstock go onto better things.

In the next year or two, let's see if QPR manage to keep hold of the better calibre of players now at the club i.e. Buzsaky, Gorkss, Connolly, Vine, Routledge & Faurlin (if he plays the way he did at S****horpe, will be sold within 2 seasons).
