I don't disagree with what you say but I do think people are over-reacting. Maybe Harry does talk to the media too much but I don't think he's made a "balls up". Do you seriously think that anything that he has said has had any material affect on this deal? He answered a question and even said that it wasn't done yet and you never know etc.. No point in worrying about being a laughing stock over it - we've been one for the last two seasons at least anyway.
The bottom line is that we have a long hard season ahead and what should be a very capable squad, with possible improvements still to come. I for one am looking forward to a season that is at least a fraction more successful than the last two and it is quite sickening to see people on here turning on the manager before a ball has even been kicked. Harry is what he is and he's our manager, warts and all.

We desperately needed two quality, prolific strikers. We have for many years in actual fact. We are currently heading into the new season with two aged, injury prone players.
Was fully prepared to give him a chance even after the shambles he made of last season, but as yet, he is just confirming my worst fears.
