Ffs terrible news. Not mr QPR but a real fans favourite down at rangers. He would have been great for us this season imo. Redknapp would be stupid to let him go. Also some of you please shut it about headless chicken comments, he's given this club 110% at all times and has done more than most of the squad over the past couple seasons, show some respect.

Hope it is not true, but If yes I can't blame him and will always follow him at other club. He has been fantastic character.

Not that good. He doesn't want to play for us any more.

I think he will not allowed to move until we secure Hooper or a striker!

Why does Mackie handing in a transfer request imply the club is a circus?

He is cleary not in the managers plans and wants first team football.

Players move on, best of luck to him.

The club is a circus played out to the millions of other fans in this country through the media and twitter

At last some sense from someone.

I like Mackie but lets be honest, life will certainly go on without him. You would think that we are losing Cristiano Ronaldo based on some of the reactions on here!

Careful of falling from that high horse of yours.

Don't think anyone questions his effort or desire. Its just that he is not very good footballer. If myself and others who attend most games and pay good money get tired of him running into players, losing the ball and not contributing much at all we have a right to call him what we like.

A lot of people here with short memories who seem to have forgotten how effective Mackie was at Championship level when played in his best position.

So there's a real chance that Bobby and AJ could be our only strikers come next Saturday. My word depressing would be an understatement
i supported qpr in the glory days when chris kiwomya and michael ngonge played up front

I remember exactly how effective he was and I like Mackie a lot but if he's not in the managers plans then he's not in the managers plans. You have to admit Stan, he's hardly irreplaceable is he?

Nottingham Forest target Jamie Mackie has reportedly submitted a transfer request at QPR.

If Mackie feels like this now, the least can be said about the morale of the rest of the team the better. With Harry we fall.

but take a look at my photo blog:
