Celtic are a massive club in a ****e league. He's now moving to a better league with the favourites to win it.

Playing devil's advocate, can see why he would say that; Celtic, alebit they play in a 2 bob league, are a massive club. What do they average, 60k fanatical fans per game? We scrape 17k.

That said, Hooper wanting to play in the English leagues (even if 2nd tier for now!) is understandable - yes, Celtic are in the CL (for a handful of games), but the rest of the season they're playing Aberdeen, Motherwell, St Mirren, Ross County etc. Not to mention having to living in Jock Land
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

It annoys me Celtic think they're good. They're poor & would get relegated in the PL
          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
          And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

So then, would Celtic, given the opportunity jump ship and play in English leagues?

Course they would. The same principle can be applied to Hooper.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

A big fish in a stinky, small pond full of shopping trolleys and empty bottles of Buckie.

They'd be lucky to survive in the Championship....... hence their star player looking like he's coming to us rather than some established PL side........

If Celtic is such a great club and massive, how come it doesn't have a squad full of world class players?

Also why do they have to quality for the Champions' League?

Is this the same Collins who left the massive premier league club Everton to join the minnows of Fulham. Stupid comment by him after he done the exact same thing and im pretty sure money was at the heart of his move as well.

As Hooper is English maybe his sick of hearing anti British pro IRA songs and I'm sure he was disgusted to hear them singing songs that mocked lee rigbys death on Saturday vs brentford

Collins is right. Massive stadium & fanatical fans every game coming to our little ground with a load of groaners.

Same as Julio Cesar when he rocked up he must of thought wtf. Playing against England at the Maracana or whatever it's called then back to Loftus Rd. it's never nice to hear but unfortunately their is a lot of truth in it. Only thing is we are trying to obtain a new stadium so will make it easier to attract the better players.
