Keep him IMO. Do we really need £1.5-2 million that badly?

We talk about getting good characters in- you won't find many better than Mackie.

Mackie it the type of player that would want to play week in week out, and because he seems like a decent chap, I'd imagine Harry has had a very sensible chat with him, hence why he is available to buy.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

On the Forest forums, there is a big thread on both Hooper and Austin. Didnt even know they were in for them. Bizarre.

Wrong time to sell him & especially to a rival. Also on Harry's part he's probably thinking where would he play him? He's useless on the wing as he 9 times out of 10 runs straight into an oppo player after trying to go THROUGH them & if we get Hooper & manage to keep Remy till January he certainly won't be starting up front. Maybe a very useful super sub with his energy & drive which is where I always thought he was strongest myself but would JM fancy that? I wouldn't of thought so myself.

Exactly... just the type of player for this league.

i'd take 3 million and we get get austin for around that figure.

The reason I also say this is because I know a burnley fan that gets to all games in london and he thinks austin could step up to the premier and he rates him highly. I like the fact he was a builder and knows what a real days work means so more grounded than most footballers these days

Depending on who we bring in, JM's game time could be very limited this season. As much as I would keep him as a squad player, I can understand it if he leaves.

would definitely take 3mill, especially if its not from one of our rivals.

i meant another championship club. and to be fair, i dont think you can underestimate teams like forest/leicester/leeds etc etc, some very very good teams in the championship.
