I don't fancy the idea of bringing anybody from Chelscum.
Shame we got in John Hollins, Steve Wicks, Terry Venables, Dave Webb, Paul Furlong et al then. Could have done without Bosw@nk@, Tommy Langley and Clive Walker, though........
Personally would prefer we had no loans in our team next season. Want players who actually give a damn about the club and are desperate to get out of the division playing week in week out. Not ones just there for matches who dont care as they'll return to their parent club at the end of the season anyway.
There are exceptions obviously, notably Fabio last season who was one of only a few positives, but in general, loans are not all their cracked up to be.

I've got to say that I think that is a bit of a sweeping generalisation you made there Del. I can understand why you might be against loaning players after the loan system was abused by Bernie and Flabio but selected wisely, loanees can be very useful. We've had some great loans in recent years including Wayne Routledge, Kyle Walker, Lee Camp, Andros Townsend & Jimmy Smith. Alright we've had some duds in that time too but it's all about picking your loan players wisely, quite often (and in Kyle Walkers case) you can get your hands on a cracking player for 3-12 months that you otherwise would never have been able to attract. Have a look at Watford, they did an excellent job of working the loan market last season and very nearly got promoted.
I agree that we can’t go back to the Bernie & Flabio days where we were loaning so many players that the side was unrecognisable from one month to the next. That doesn’t mean that we can’t enhance the squad with a few well selected loan players over the course of the season though!
