I find it hard to believe people are this angry at the signing of Karl Henry.
Fair dooze he has been relegated twice and he is 30 years old, furthermore you could question what he is going to offer with regards to his ability.
BUT, we are really not in the position to be questioning the quality of signings this season.
1. We are now in a league below, no longer can we attract top players. Parker would be a dream, but he is still good enough for a mid table Prem team IMO.
2. Clearly the board as a whole have learnt LOADS of lessons from their first FULL season in charge
- Wage caps; not paying players more than they are worth
- Agent Education; Not listening to agents anymore FULL STOP.
- Bringing in the RIGHT players. Ensuring that they are the type of player who is worthy of playing for QPR.
- Better contract lengths and clauses e.g. Dunne deal was very good.
3. Henry is a grafter and we are desperate for more of those players
4. He is no different to when we signed Derry and Hill
Give the guy a chance - In Harry we trust!!
This will be a long old season if we start slagging players of before we play Sheff Weds first game of the season...

in some respects the above post is correct we have to sign the right players on the right money but(and i do not usually condem signings) karl henry is a big time loser what cant he do 1) score goals 2)pass 3)tackle fairly 4) have an influence on the game.what he can do 1)run 2)show dissent 3)pick up yellow cards 4)be gobby 5)get relegated.there are better players in the lower leagues who are younger and hungrier.where is our scouting system if karl henry is the sort of player they come up with,i pray he proves me wrong.

Personally I can also think of better players for that position.
But what I question is, can we afford them and can we attract them?

I've seen enough of Henry over the years to know he is dog s**t. No ability what so ever and all he does is kick people up in the air. Yer that may come in handy away to the northern teams but it's about time English football moved on from this caveman era. I would be all for it if we still had Adel or a creative player in front of him, but all we have is faurlin & Jenas who only pass sideways, and now Henry whos first touch is so bad his second touch is always a tackle.
For the sake of our season I do hope he proves me wrong though and a change of club may turn him into a better player. I wouldn't hold my breath though.@chrisrobson9

Everyone's abusing him and he hasnt even pulled the shirt on or signed for us yet.
If/When he signs give him a chance don't just start abusing him with out even giving him a chance.
Ruins the morale for everyone in the campI know i'll use my trusty frying pan, as a drying pan.

I genuinely hope that I am proven wrong on this one but I just can't see the logic in this transfer!

For centre midfield I'm not even sure that we need to spend big anyway. Gary O'Neil is available of a free, may want a little more in wages than Henry but he's twice the player. Nicky Bailey has just gone to Millwall on a free, more attacking player but would have been a better option than Henry in my eyes. Then if the board fancied spending a few quid Liam Bridcutt at Brighton has got a huge future ahead of him. To be honest I probably would even prefer us to go for Henry's team mate O'Hara, at least he's got age on his side. They are just a few realistic targets off my head, I'm sure there are loads more!

Strikers cost a lot more money.. especially proven goalscorers

He used to be fairly good some years ago. Hence,Why donīt give him a chance away from the sinking ship, Wolves. Playing in a "up and coming" team(cough, cough) might actually do him good. If reports about him covering lots of ground,IMO, he might be just what we need in the Championship which also is a level he knows everything about.QPR
