    Nasser,if you read my post correctly I said paulinho would be a replacement for Bale (if they sold him) and chadli is an out and out winger so townsend would be pushed down the pecking order !

          Townsend is wasting his time and career at Spurs. Like so many before him, players hang around these big clubs hoping to get a chance and most never do. Then it's the kudos of saying 'yeah I play for Spurs' and they rarely do.

          It's time for the lad to move on.

              I read your post but in no way is paulinho a potential replacement for bale, they have no similarities in how they play

                They've loaned him out to nine different clubs since 2009. I think they'll try and shift him with a deal structured similar to the one they did for Taarabt (higher fee upfront through of course).
