Spurs have just signed a Belgiun winger, Nacer Chadli; could pathe the way for Townsend to leave? Not that we'd be guaranteed him if he is available, but the chances have got a long stronger.

Can't see him dropping down a divison tbh, surely a few PL sides would be queueing for his signature before us?

Wait until the end of August and one of West Ham, Palace, Cardiff or Swansea will take him off Spurs.
