Its been a while since I last posted. I have been reading nearly on daily basis what's being written on this forum, however, its all about rumours and I hate rumours! After watching Rangers against Besiktas and today, the last 25 minutes against Udinese, I must say that I was impressed with the 'new' players coming in. The Korean left back is better then Traore by a distance. Faster, concentrated and known what to do with the ball. Simpson did well on the right and can overlap very fast. However, our own youngsters impressed me most. Sutherland took his goal with class. Ehmer was composed at the back like a veteran. Harriman was also good, although he did have some lapses. My point is this: How come that our recent Managers find it so hard to throw these youngsters in. We keep talking about players over 30 that past their best. Others that are here only for the money. Others that do not want to play in the Championship.....and we seems so scared and unsure to try our own youngsters. Give them a chance Harry.

It will possibly be easier to give them a chance in the championship than in the premiership, plus they have the experience of playing with the U21s who did well last year. So now is probably a good time for them to step up.

I remember the eighties team that won the old Second Division. It was full of players from our own academy!
