Your call, but, if there were a petition signed by loads of QPR fans who see the benefit or having a top scout, and this was sent to the club and they approached Mel and he didnt fancy it ... he would only have to say no thanks at the moment. But the petition may may the club aware he is no longer at spuds and realise all the good players he found us .. if he was offered the role and took it that can only be good for the club i'd of thought
Maybe, he would like to retire, sit back and relax now?
do we sack the scout we have just employed?
Are you seriously comparing Mel Johnson who has years of eyes and ears all over the world, to someone looking in Ireland ?
Meanwhile, Magilton says he is delighted to have Lynch on board.
"Stephen is a fantastic football man," he said, "and it's great for us to have him out there looking for the best young talent Ireland has coming through.
the problem is so few Irish players really make it to the top of the game, If that is where we are aiming ... Ireland probably isnt the first place to have a full time scout let alone your only one
