    Good for him.

If he'd done it a bit more for us, he might well still be here now.

Thought Blackburn released him a few weeks after signing him?

Strange that rumour wasn't it? I know Blackburn is run by a bunch of numpties but why would you sign a player and release him a few days later?

With regards to DJ Campbell, I do think we've dropped a clanger there. I know he hardly played for us in the 2 seasons he was here but I reckon we should have renewed for a year. Decent player in the Championship who will be up amongst the top scorers in the league next season!

Harry obviously not impressed by him for one reason or another. If we get someone in that can actually score goals regularly no one will bothered anymore. It was the same when remy came in.

Couldn't agree more and if it wasn't for the fact that he's an R's lad then people would be a little more realistic in their overall appraisal of his time with us.... Good luck to the boy and hope he has a stinker against us home and away though...

I agree that Campbell didn't really do anything for us but then again he wasn't really given a chance. I also think that he probably isn't quite good enough for the Premier League but he is a completely different proposition at Championship level.

Fair point but Jason Puncheon did nothing for us in the Premiership either, yet Southampton actually let him take to the pitch and all of a sudden, he can actually play in the premiership.

That miss against Manure still haunts me and maybe he could've done something for us in the championship but he's obviously not Arry's cup of tea so not point in crying over spilt milk....

Do we give some players the chance to show what they can do?

Is one or two games enough?
