  • A few thoughts.

Loic remy - A lot of talk of him going to West Ham, many clubs interested. The fact of the matter is there is a real chance that he could go to prison. I think people are over looking this fact. I cant see any club taking a risk on a transfer fee and wages etc then him going down. So if we keep him we could still lose him.

Gary Hooper - Ive seen people slagging him off because he hasnt signed yet. This is all based on an "itk" post saying he was coming to QPR, bit harsh if you ask me. The post could be correct but until you get official lines from either of the clubs you have to take it as a rumor. The latest of these rumors being that he is in London today (Friday) for a medical.

Scott Parker - All gone quiet seemed a dead certain a week ago, now we have all been caught up in hoopermania. Still think this will happen in the next week, Im not ITK just making a educated guess.

Charlie Austin - Didnt sign for Hull due to failed medical, I personally think that he will end up at Norwich. Does anyone know why he failed his medical??

The pre Season has been a good one I feel, watching the games. I know we drew with Exeter and lost to Peterboro, but we have to remember these friendlies are just to get back to fitness, try out new things, see how some players are coming along. The besitkas game was a good one. I thought we looked good and even tho it wasnt at full pace I felt we were rather comfortable against a very good established European team.

Adel - Think he will stay at Rangers, needs to knuckle down. Cant see any team wanting him after the all the bad press he has had. I also feel that he is the spark in our team, we look much more dangerous when he plays, Its sad we havent seen him in any of the pre season games. I hope for his and the clubs sake he sorts it out.

Finally lets remember what happened to Blackburn when there fans got on the teams back and slagged everyone off. It doesnt do the club any good. WE ARE QPR, we have the best supporters so lets get behind the lads and take the Championship by storm.

    U rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs
Only one of the voices in my head is crazy...

      Good post!

With regards to Charlie Austin, the medical staff at Hull found something wrong with his knee. Apparently the player was unaware of it but Hull were concerned enough that they weren't prepared to risk the transfer fee. I have to be honest, this does worry me a bit, we love signing players that are crocked!

I think you're wrong on Adel, to me it looks like Harry has had enough of his antics. I've been watching a lot of interviews on Player and the one thing that the club are keen to get across is that the squad that has gone on tour is full of players that want to be there, those that don't want to be there have been left at home. Personally I think the first team players that aren't on tour, with the possible exception of Ephraim who is injured, won't play for us again!

It's all wait and see and not get upset seeing everything that's rumoured as a potential negative. Personally, I liked what I saw against Bus Tickets. Looked like the team was set up very well and there were some promising signs.

He's dislocated his shoulder a few times in recent years but I'm pretty certain it was his knee that concerned Hull. Hang on and I'll try and find the article I was reading about it.

Was it Hulls medical staff that wasn't happy with his condition ,or could it be medics acting on behalf of who would be financing the deal ,a newly promoted club doesn't get their prem cash straight away

I seem to recall the Finance people have vetoed deals that clubs have been happy to go ahead with , wasn't this the case with a forward that Arsenal later signed Kanue or something and the forward west ham had who might have then gone to Newcastle or Spurs

I think you're referring to Demba Ba who was on his way to Stoke City until a medical showed a potential problem with his knee. Obviously since then Ba has made big money moves to Newcastle and Chelsea so it makes you wonder a bit whether some clubs might more lenient policies on medicals than others. It's also interesting that Ba's knee was the subject of serious concern yet his injury record over the last few seasons has actually been very good!

What I,m Getting at Kanue heart defect Ba knee ,Arsenal Newcastle Chelsea wouldn't need finance as we wouldn't with Austin therefor we could well have an interest and rely on our own medical

I bet someone takes a punt on him this summer, despite the knee injury!
