  • UPDATE RE: Hooper

So this it what I've just been told...

Hooper has agreed personnel terms with QPR and as far as the club is concerned the deal just needs to be finalised his parent club. This was all done as I confirmed on Tuesday. The reason for the delay is that Celtic are holding out for more money and are trying to tout him about elsewhere.

Thanks Dazzer, that actually makes sense. Do you know if Celtic have been given a deadline, because I got the impression the Club was not going to wait around forever.

I know nothing else, sorry. I've only posted what I've told.

Personally I don't think the club will let it drag on because we have other irons in the fire and we won't want to miss out hanging on for this deal. The fact that Celtic left him out of the squad yesterday and given everything is agreed our end I would say this saga will come to a close very soon, whether that will be by us withdrawing or them not agreeing a deal with us, who knows!
