Rumours going around on twitter that we've enquired for him so this makes sense. Also, the £5m we offered Celtic for Hooper was 'apparently' a take it or leave it offer (again, according to twitter) which as we know celtic rejected, and now we're looking at Austin as a replacement.

The deal allegedly involves Celtic getting a large sell-on percentage if QPR sell him in the future. Another clause in the deal is apparently Celtic will get a significant add-on to the initial fee of £5.3 million if QPR get promoted in the next two seasons, the add-on fee is rumoured to be around £1.5-£2 million.Last edited by Tarbie; 17-07-2013, 01:48 PM.

Also i'll add I have nothing against Faurlin and Jenas however they could be related to the crab familyI played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Reason we havent scored so often in the PL is because it is the PL and we have been basically defending for 90mins in virtually every game because we were afraid to attack, get caught and concede. Out of our depth immensely.
In the Championship we'll, hopefully, see a more attacking side. A 4-4-2 with attacking fullbacks in Traore and Simpson ideally.
Theres less to fear in this division, we've seen it all before so lets get out there and start playing!

I do not think this is necessarily incorrect. Our amended offer was apparently 5 million (with add ons) and this was a take it or leave it offer.
