Seems like a good lad but not sure hes got the quality we need.

Anyone know if Ferdinand is on the tour?
IMO Ephraim is a good squad player for the Champ - as he proved last time around - and with his recent loans.

Never gonna set the world on fire - but just the player you need when some of the more "highly strung" tarts inevitably take objection to playing up at your Doncasters of the world on a pi$$y wet Wednesday night in January........

Interesting that Ale and Granero are together (of course they both speak Spanish).

Both Ali & Granero were at Ronnie Scott's last night, guessing they're good pals

Note there are four youngsters included in the squad.

I still think they could make a good midfield partnership.

The choice of airport is curious; the nearest one is Klagenfurt (61 km) which is actually in Austria, so no border crossing; Ryanair fly here. Instead they fly Ljubliana (121 km) which involves a border crossing and double the coach time; served by Easyjet. Explains the glum faces and hangdog look.

Well in our last season in the Championship Ephraim started well but then faded away and we relied on Routledge and Taarabt, that's the kind of quality I think we need. We're after Townsend- for me that's the benchmark and Ephraim falls short of it.

IMO, Ephraim is not physically strong enough to play as a winger in the Championship and I doubt we'll accommodate him as a number 10.

Out of interest, do you think he has the quality to play week in week out in a promotion winning side?
