  • Lack of creativity

Anyone else a bit concerned about the lack of creativity in the side?

Remy of course can score goals, and so can Hooper (if he signs) - but without creating chances, we could still struggle.
After watching most of our games over the last few years, we have shown pretty much no creativity whatsoever when Adel is not in the side, and with his future looking elsewhere - I cannot see any other of our players who can create and score goals. Andros made a big difference, but has gone, Hoilett has the talent but is yet to show it - and Faurlin is a good player, but isnt really a flair player who will beat defenders with pace or score many goals.

I hope we have some ideas lined up! I know the pre season is not much to go by, but as I predicted before the game at Exeter - we created near enough nothing all game and I hear this was the same at Peterborough.

Definetley need a creative player to replace Adel when/if he goes. We do not have another player in the squad who would take a risk with a pass, or even pass forward! Faurlin is a very good player at what he does (passing sideways), as is Jenas. Hoilett is a waste of space and will be again this season, SWP will not create, and our forwards are not the type to drop deep and pick up the ball, then beat a defender and shoot.

Agree with this, although I am expecting some quality from Holliet.

He's been ****** frustrating but I can see him causing teams in this league real problems if he can get match fit and avoid injury. He has the ability to beat players but he never looked fit last season, which again I have concerns over his attitude.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

It is slightly worrying but hopefully others will be forced to step up if Adel goes. Currently, its pretty much a case of give Adel the ball, he'll do it all.

Arsenal had the same thing with Henry before he left.

Adel created 10 assists in 57 games and scored 7 goals. Are we really going to miss him that much?
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

I think that they're having a good go at calling Adel's bluff TBH......... And I think that there is a very good chance that it will work......

Adel is like a big kid, he'll say "If they don't want me... I'll go".

I think he should think twice about moving, no club will put up with a player not turning up for training. He get's away with murder here, he'll regret any move he makes.

Think that's true. Especially when no one will buy him. Trouble is I doubt he can knuckle down and become a player who consistently plays for the team... And who fits into a system rather than have a system build around him.

Don't you know that he is the most gifted player on the planet and that he can play for any club he wishes for?

They will all come knocking on the door.

We do lack quality in midfield badly and HR knows this.

I think at the moment it is the case that we have to sell before we can buy/sign etc.. There will be incomings and outgoings.
