On Adel - (Interesting that he didnt say he is 'Free to go whatver'

There's talk about him going to Hull on loan, but what's the point of loaning him out? If he wants to leave, let somebody come and pay the money for him. If he really wants to go that badly, and somebody wants him, they can pick up the phone and make us an offer.

    On Cesar

I think he is a goalkeeper for any team in the world. To loan him out for a year, because he wants to be in the Brazil World Cup squad, then have him back is absolutely pointless. Napoli are not short of money, if they want him surely it has to be a deal that suits the football club, not a deal that suits agents.

Too right n all. If somebody wants em, stump up the cash. We shouldn't be a bl00dy charity lending our players out.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Furthermore - Before the qoute - SSN wrote the following

Redknapp has also been discussing the future of Adel Taarabt and he again sees no point in QPR letting an important first-team player go out on loan after the playmaker was linked with Hull City.

Just sounds like Harry wants to keep him but a big money offer is too hard to refuse.

Apparentley they cannot afford their wages. That's why they are looking for loan deals!

What's a realistic amount for the pair? I'm thinking £8-10m

                No point loaning them out:

                1. Waste of money subsidising their inflated salaries.
                2. If we dont go up they wont want to return anyway.
                3. If we go up, will they really easily fit into a successful, gelled team.

I'd get rid for as much as someone is prepared to go for. Its like Hooper - doesnt want to be there so cash in and move on.

                  Fair point Harry
                  Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
