Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Over to the conspiracy theorists
As for Crouch saying he is happy at Stoke well maybe he is but a lot of things get said in transfer windows that dont always happen.

Crouch said he was happy at stoke but understood if the club wanted to sell, now it doesn't take a genius to work out, if you express to leave the club or hand in a transfer then they don't have to pay you up your contract, but if the club want to sell you then they do, I would say he wants to join but also wants paying to leave

Crouch is anything but vital.... i really hope we dont get him and revert to an easy option **** poor brand of football, hoof to the tall lump and play for the 2nd ball. no thanks.
He's not evern very good anymore, hence he couldn't get in Stoke's team last season.

My thought is that for the money and for his age- surely there are better alternatives??
