tony seems happy for us to underperform on the pitch as long as we're in the spotlight. we are definitely an afterthought
Yeah but that's a bit like saying Hitler was a travel agent and encouraged foreign travel amongst the 3rd reich

Have to disagree with this. Neil Warnock and the players got us promoted, IN SPITE of the directorship of F and B.

Don't you think the investment and relegation got us in the spotlight? A bad spotlight. You seriously think TF is happy with that?
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Why not make money from a club asset?.Park was signed as a footballer by Hughes, not as a business tool by Fernandes.Did not Manure milk the ar5e out of Park in Asia?.

Find it a bit bizarre everyone blames TF when Hughes and Deputy Dawg spent countless millions on the cr@p players they wanted. All TF did was give them the money they wanted yet it's his fault that rubbish players and bad management got us relegated.

Now he is reigning in the spending everyone still moans.

Pointless being a club owner/chairman as there will always be people willing to pick holes in everything you do.Even when you are investing millions of pounds in a club that will always end up losing money.Easy to spend other peoples money but how many people here would pour money down the drain like TF has done?.

Until we get a manager who wants to be at the club, along with players who want to be here we will always be a mess.

            Well said.

You spend and you get called names... you don't spend and you still get called names.

Got to agree with Richard here. The first 3 seasons of FB & BR were a complete disaster.

Ok how about this? We get rid of most of the squad, and spend zero on replacements. We get in young unproven players on cheap contracts. We scrap the training ground/academy and the new stadium and carry on with Harlington and LR. We do no promotion and marketing of the club outside of west London. We never seek promotion to the EPL.

Will that make the whingers happy?

Only problem with that is they will then say that the board have no ambition.... I guess they'd be called tight and all sorts.

It's quite interesting because I follow my old mucker Scott Jones on twitter.

Tbh I have never had a bad word to say about the bloke and I appreciate he's had his problems, however ignoring all that his footballing views completely mirror Vblocks ones. I know V has come under stick and personally like most I blame the managers not the owners but Scott and Vblock aren't bad posters so it does make you wonder how their minds work and maybe they are seeing something we're all missing?!

Both very anti fernandes was my point and say it with passion and meaning!

I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

this does appear to be the 'wets' alternative vision to TF's

WeAre, to be a cynic is the easiest thing in the world, especially when done from the sidelines. It requires no effort and no personal risk. Some also do it to seek attention.

OTOH having a degree of faith and belief in someone/thing always requires an element of personal risk and effort.

Some people possess the former characteristic, some possess the latter.

Please don't tell me V is Scott Jones. I can't stand the latter and hope I haven't wasted minutes of my life on that twunt!

There are those who really believe QPR was bought by TF as a marketing vehicle for Air Asia and as a way of building a new music venue. They also believe it's TF who selects the players for purchase and not the managers, despite TF saying otherwise.

The playing squad needed improvement when we got promoted because we were going to be playing at a higher level. TF has given three managers money so they could get the players they wanted. For as long as I've been a Rangers fan (40 years) we've always been primarily a selling club, and along comes a chairman who is willing to spend and some want to bash him up!

Ok, by his own admission TF has made mistakes, but he's learned by those mistakes and is still willing to take the club further. He got tucked up by some unscrupulous people but he's learned his lesson.

Those who continually bash TF and claim it's him who is selecting the players for purchase do not say how those players fit into the Air Asia marketing strategy. For example, how is the impending purchase of Gary Hooper going to enhance that airline? Are we going to see him become an icon in the Far East? Of course not. He's being bought to score goals for QPR FC.

To those who keep knocking TF: tell us who you want running the club outside of the current board. Publicly state why you oppose the
new training ground/academy. Please say why you think LR is fit for the 21st century. Tell us what players you would sign with zero transfer funds. Say why you think no marketing outside of west London is going to grow us as a club.

I'm sure we'd all be interested in your opinions.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Not really sure why any businessman buys a football team. It usually costs them a lot of money and the supporters never really appreciate them, even if they win the league every year.

So to be a Fernandes Fan Boy like you lot i have to forget and forgive the mistakes he has made, forget the last 2 years, have faith and belief that he wont make mistakes like that again, accept and like the fact that moving from Loftus Road is a good thing for all and care a bit more for the "brand" ??? Bet you lot also believe in tooth fairys and Santa too?

If you want to forgive and forget his mistakes and the last 2 seasons of humiliation already thats up to you lot..some of us need a bit more convincing. If we have a good season (a first under Fernandes control) then i'll warm to him...is there a rule somewhere that you have to love the Chairman from day one cos he's a nice fella and tweets a lot of patronising bullsh1t? This time next year i might love the bloke like you lot do! Mind you by then he might be pushing his airline into India and we will find ourselves lumbered with top Indian players to help him market it :-) time will tell. Until then dont take it all so personally that not everyone loves your idol, we got more important things to worry about like getting back to the prem. Some of you are hilarious though so keep it up
