We lured premiership rejects to come and play for us with big money incentives then held on to a struggling manager for far too long. Mistakes were made by Fernandes no matter what his fans say...hope he has learned and i hope he has the clubs best interests at heart.
But we need to move on and get behind the bloke. Don't think anyone has any reason to suspect or accuse him of a lack of commitment to making us a long term success.

ONE MORE KEY FACT - not another one of your lousy assumptions...
So what if Tony Fernandes uses our players for his other businesses. Noticed you picked up on this but you've happened to forget he got the QPR logo, QPR plane and other material splattered all over AirAsia website which receives circ 11 million unique hits a month across Asia, thus increasing the clubs profile in Asian markets. Not to mention the clubs crest on his own Formula One racing teams car which has in excess of 510million viewers around the world also doing the same, but then again he's just a money grabbing ****.
Pffffhhhh really some of the stuff you come out with is terrible.
Premiership rejects...
Julio Ceasar ?
Loic Remy ?
Chris Samba ?
Those three names alone would walk into most Premiership side. Albeit Samba was woeful for us. Do get a life pal!

Cesar was bought for profile because he became available (we had already signed Green) imo
Samba is a donkey
Townsend was the best bit of business we did in 2 years (thanks Harry)
Fernandes is not the devil incarnate mate and i have said countless times he shouldnt take all the blame i just find it hilariously funny that his fan boys start crying when he gets any blame or criticism. He has made mistakes , he has apolgised for being naive, some have forgiven him, i havent. Its not rocket science, if you want to move on and put the 2 years down to naivety then fair enough. I think he will still make c0ck ups and i worry for the club in his hands. Like you said in an earlier post though we do have other backers in the background making sure he doesnt completely **** up so whats the worst he could do? I am hoping he has learnt from those 2 years anyhow and we will see a new more wise Chairman taking more of a back seat.

V, I get where you are coming from and see what you mean. However, I look at the longer term plans - including steps being taken at grass roots and with the training ground, improvements in media relations and stuff like that. Yes, **** poor results for the first team and a painful premier league showing entitles you to be angry and even skeptical - the good work he has done will not bear fruit now, next season or even for years to come because it has to be done from scratch.
Perhaps in say ten years time when it starts to make a difference you will have learned to love him Or perhaps you will have been shown to be right and I will have probably retired from posting#standuptocancer

I certainly hope it all comes good for my clubs sake and it just goes to prove how poorly we have been run in the past for us not to have decent training facilities and an Academy already set up.

This is a good read...
Shows Fernandes as a bit of a gambler with a few good quotes. Comes across very Delboy Trotter :-)

my patience with tony is wearing thin. and park needs to **** off already.
at least bernie + flav were winners, got us promoted even if we were in a bad state
tony seems happy for us to underperform on the pitch as long as we're in the spotlight. we are definitely an afterthought
