That's just daft, Dunne is a whole 2 years younger than Ryan Nelsen, arguably our best player last season and Clint Hill, our player of the year for the last 2 seasons. Dunne is also (in most peoples book) a better player than either Nelsen or Hill and has operated at a higher level for most of his career. If he is fit, Dunne will be a great addition, if he isn't then we have a break clause in his contract.
So in summary...........quit your whinging, it's boring!
He is the perfect kind of player to have alongside Onouha - his experience will help Neddy and I reckon it will be a pretty solid pairing.
Hill will probably be the stop gap, and no bad replacement when needed.
Says it on the official announcement mate, summen about if he's not fit to play there's an option to terminate. Shrewd bit of business from mr fernandes

Not sure if this has been posted as there are several threads on this. The important thing is that the deal is provisionally for one year and that if he breaks down we can terminate his contract. Assuming that he is not getting paid too much this appears to be a win win situation for the Club.
Excellent signing and sounds as though the board have got the conditions right too. This should go a long way to solving our defensive woes, at least for this season.
