Richard Dunne is a fantastic defender who gives 100% for both Aston Villa and Ireland....He is the IRONMAN

No way he can play LB in the championship either. You need to have pace and be mobile to play against nippy wingers.
          Yep.

Better off with Traore (when his brain is working), or maybe that Suk Fuk Wang matey when he sorts out his positioning.

A proper old school no nonsense CB who just wants to play, and i would be very happy to see him playing for us.

So yes i'd imagine it's a given that Dunne's demands were nothing like Bridge's.
Wise words Del. My exact same views on him.

                Not a fan of Dunne.

Also no where near as composed on the ball as Nelson but lets face it not allot of competition for a centre back birth so clearly he should start but people shouldn't expect a great deal as he turns slower than an oil tanker and will get shown up, where as Nelson just ozzed class so the comparison is unfair.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Agree with RD being fairly slow but RN wasn't exactly nimble toes either. Think he will do a job, solid, strong and a leader on the pitch. The truth is until they put the shirt on who knows what we are likely to get. Playing in a QPR shirt seems to have an effect on some players, some step up (Hill and Nelson) and some fail miserably (Cisse, Barton, Ferdy, SWP, and many many more over the years)
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

Do believe he's scored for us already....so he's got a head start on most of our players already!!!

Really happy about him, leader fighting quality we've lacked.

After seeing Anton & Ben Haim I think this is really good back up centre back. I know he has got his knockers but he is really solid & we're in the Championship too
                          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                          And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Does all the simple things well - all you need really when you look at how Samba struggled to do it !
