If I'm guilty of anything its in wishing the best for your speedy return to the Premier this season.

If QPR Dave doubts my sincerity in this, there's very little I can do to change his, or indeed, anyone else's attitude.
I wish you'd just not only stand by it ..........stay on it

And that makes him money grabbing mercenary as well does it?

Nope not at all. But can we all honestly say that if there was a big spending side in League 1 that a player opted to move to instead of us, we wouldn't dare say it might be money motivated?

They didn't say, but the first offer was £5m and some papers were saying Celtic would settle for 500k more, so I reckon we've offered that

Does that mean they have refused Norwich's offer, which I understood was their final one?

Fair play if we some how land him that would be a top top signing.

For us that would mean around 29k."

5m was mentioned as turned down. So reckon now around 5.5-6m only hope really is Norwich pull out but doubt they will as went in with more then that in jan. fingers crossed

That's nothing. You need to see Spankwir's new bike. Remind me to show ya a video of it if you're out in Hudds :pleasantsuprise:

This is what the newspaper the Scotsman said

Gary Hooper’s proposed move to Norwich City could be set to collapse, after the Premier League side issued the SPL champions with a £4 million ultimatum.

The Canaries have reportedly told Celtic that they have until 5pm today to accept the bid for the club’s top scorer.

This sounds like Norwich are not prepared to pay more.

if we pay over the odds in wages then he will come

Hooper probably wanted to go Norwich, Premier league side and if he does well he might earn himself an England call up and get to play and the world cup... This will be very unlikely if he comes to us. He'd probably have to score 40 goals to even get Hodgsons attention.
