  • QPR close in on Dunne

Chief executive Phil Beard confirmed the R's are keen to bring the 33-year-old to Loftus Road.

“He’s not signed yet but he’s a player that Harry would like to bring to the club,” said Beard.

“We’re looking at a number of players. The main thing is that they want to play for the club and are ready for the Championship, which is very different to the Premier League.”

Out of the names I have seen most often rumored I think Parker would have the biggest positive impact on the team, then Crouch, then Dunne.

All three would make a difference but if it was just sticking Dunne alone behind last years flops then he is on a hiding to nothing.

          Very good signing
          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
          And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Not a bad signing and unlike Adel who is only rated in his own mind and by numpties on here, Dunne is rated and regarded very highly by a lot of people, people who know more than us (supposedly!)

The Irish papers seem to think it is a Dunne deal.
