When I was born in 84, don't think my old man would of had it any other way. Think my first game was when I was around 5 so 89. Earliest memories likes of Stesjkal in goal macca, bardsley, wilson, Sir Les, etc.

My first game was Nov 23rd 1992. I would have been 9 years old. My best mate and his dad took me. Midweek game under the lights, the noise when you're walking up to the stands and the pitch suddenly appears before you - it was actually magical and a memory that will stay with me forever. The whole place seemed massive! We sat in the R Block!
We played Liverpool and lost 1-0, I remember we could have been 4-0 up at half time! Ronny Rosenthal got the 87th min winner, gutted (just checked wiki). For some reason, after all these years I actually thought it was Stan Collymore that scored it but it seems like he wasnt even at Liverpool then. Kids memory's eh :/
