if you don't agree to the clauses the players wont sign...in defense of players their career is short so they do need extra protection...its a difficult conundrem

You pay tens of thousands a week as a teenager to throughout their career with no incentive to earn it,then you wonder why they don't care?.

Money on a plate to them,and will always get a contract somewhere if they have played at the top level while young.

And then you get players like Adebayor who only start to put in a shift when it's contract renewal time.
