  • Redknapp: Remy has future but Boswinga 'must go'

QPR manager Harry Redknapp is hoping to keep striker Loic Remy at the club this summer but has told Jose Bosingwa he needs to leave Loftus Road...

Redknapp added: “Bosingwa needs to move on, he knows that. He’s got no chance at QPR, the crowd turned on him last season. He’s not liked there as everyone saw. For his own sake he needs to move on and play somewhere else.”

That statement alone has renewed my faith in old arry.

Would be absolutely amazing if we could keep Remy, what a striker he is!

Why play Bosingwa in friendly then and sub him after 20 minutes? Surely this demonstrates to all other teams what a big bell end he is and then no team will want him. Either play him or dont play him at all.

If we keep Loic we as fans can thank Tony for that, because lets face it he will have decided whether we can afford to keep him.He does as always try and support his managers so as long as Remy wants to stay
looking good.Hope to god he has an excellent lawyer

Praying to god we keep hold of Loic at least until January. He'd score for fun in the championship.

to be honest even if we do keep Remy (which I hope to god we do) who is going to set up chances for him?? he cant do it all by himself, if you take last night for instants how many chances did we have???? not many so how will he score for fun if he isnt going to get any chances???

Agree with Alex, if so why play him against Exeter.....we have Simpson, Young and Harriman....

It depends on who else we sign.

Nah... first game of pre season..each player in the squad is lucky to get 45 minutes of game time; no limit on subs used etc.. so I wouldn't read too much into it.

.... And yes, I hate him and hope that he never ever plays for us again!

Taarabt creates chances for players, but players like Faurlin, Granero, if he stays, Parker if he signs, can pass the ball well. So players like Remy, who make good intelligent runs, will have chances.

Mackie and other headless chickens will be more difficult to create chances for.

Just goes to show what a plonker Redknapp is to even consider letting such a class act as Boswinga leave imo he should be the first name on the sheet
