The way i look at it Dave is neither Fernandes or Beard have a clue about football and they have shown what putting 100 per cent trust in the manager can do with Hughes. We cannot afford for that to happen again and no matter how good and trustworthy Harry is i think there should be someone a bit more wise advising Fernandes of what is in the CLUBS best interests. Apart from that Fernandes isnt here very much and he leaves Beard in charge and he could certainly do with some help. Managers tend to go back for players they have managed before and sometimes buying lets say the more "mature" players can be a bit of a risk if given the contract that they want. Fernandes cant afford to have his trousers pulled down again and neither can the club. Looks like we are stuck with the numptys up top in the forseeable future so i suggest a "safety net" in an experienced football man with a bit more football knowledge than the two mugs who seem to be there to be walked over time and time again.

Not words I would expect to see next to Harry's name V!.....

I think the fact that you are even suggesting a director of football shows an inherent distrust of Harry and I really believe (hope) that TF has learned from what has gone on in the last couple of seasons and will not be taken for a mug anymore.
