but really whether the club signs sp or not they still have to pay cesar, bosingwa, park, mbia or you could go through a long list - it is still money - unless you have some strategy to get them off the wages bill and return to some more swansea type model maybe -
because otherwise nearly all the spending will remain exactly the same the same whether sp arrives or not.

The reason he got park on board was to up our profile abroad, how many shirts were purchased around the world with his name on, how much TV rights did we get for showing Our games in these countries. One thing I do know for a fact is rich businessmen do not spunk millions as whatever they lay out there is always a reason and a good income behind it in which you,I and the rest of our supporters will not know.

This is loose change for these guys.
"(Reuters) - Queens Park Rangers' debts have increased to almost 89 million pounds ($133.99 million), according to the latest financial results published for the Premier League's bottom club.
The accounts, which cover the 2011-12 season and do not include the last two transfer windows when QPR invested heavily on new players, show debts rose by almost 33 million pounds."
All that money just to get relegated? good bit of business from your best mate Uncle Tony? and thats without seeing the mess that the next set of books are going to be. Fill you with confidence that Fernandes is going to turn it all around? not even the slightest worry? not a speck?

All that money only to fail and get relegated....good business? Fernandes up to now has failed big time on the pitch affairs and off it. Yet some love Uncle Tony cos he tweets a good tweet :-). Not having a pop mate, if you trust him to come good then fair enough i respect your faith and opinion but we need to be able to sustain our outgoings and the way Fernandes is spending its not looking good.

I know a couple of very wealthy people and this kind of thing is done to what we know as balancing the books. There is always a reason for this and that is why they are astute and have millions

Do you really believe that the likes of TF and Amit along with the other shareholders don't know what they're doing, or have no credible business plan?
They've said all along that in the early years they understood that they will be taking a hit in their pockets while they build the club. They knew that they would have to invest a lot of money for a number of years before they saw growth.
You seem to think that it's all about quick fixes and instant success. It's not. The board is playing for the long term.
Sadly, too many fans like yourself cannot see the long term plans. That is the complete overhaul of the club's infrastructure, the growth of revenue streams, and the development of a long-term youth policy. The changes cannot be achieved overnight, nor can they be achieved in a few years. It takes time and patience which unfortunately, you seem to lack.
I wish you'd stop bad mouthing the chairman and let him try and do his job.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Due to huge mistakes and gross mis management we have spent millions and are spending millions on wages...and have got nowhere. In fact we have gone backward. Now we have to hope and pray that we can turn it all around befor FFP comes into force which is why i guess that Fernandes is hoping for an instant promotion. However, some people have total faith that they can do this, some have a few fears and some cynical *******s like me look at the last 2 seasons since Fernandes took over and wonder what the **** is this plum's business plan. If you have faith in Fernandes then fair enough but i dont trust the ****.

@Vblock
Tell me something. Are you a qualified accountant? Are you a developer of successful businesses? Have you a track record at the highest levels of companies such as Virgin? Are you one of the world's richest men? If not, then kindly shut the f*ck up because the people who own our club have these attributes. What do you know about high finance and business development?
When you can line yourself up against our owners then you may have a legitimate point. Until then, give it a rest eh?Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

You also talk about all the what if's and constantly have this vendetta against Tony and his other backers as if you want them out or to fail. Well, what if Tony is a man of his word? He's trying to build us from the floor up e.g training ground, academy, new stadium... Does that all sound like noise from a man who don't know what he's doing or someone who's trying to make a quick buck? He knows he fudged up with player acquisitions because he put his trust in so called football people who gave him terrible advice. He held his hands up, has taken it on the chin and said he won't get taken for a ride again and that it will make us stronger. I mean I wouldn't trust a man, sorry accountant who's turned a 25 cent business into a 3 billion dollar company. Clearly he hasn't got a clue how to run a business. It sounds like he's only interested in QPR so he can turn us into another O2 music venue.
Companies also report massive losses as a means of tax avoidance, that's not rocket science. Do you really think TF is the man he is or has got to where he is today because he knows nothing? You're more than entitled to your own views but its now starting to look like you're on a smear campaign against the board. Seems like your trying to impose your views on others and this is starting to get laughable now IMO.

I am just a fan of the club that has gone backward and had 2 humiliating seasons, the first 2 saeasons under Fernandes control coincidentally. Same as you i have an opinion, not the same opinion but still one that concerns me and if you dont like it....tough. I am in a minority in not trusting Uncle Tony but the dissent among fans is growing and people will really start to worry unless Fernandes shows he has learnt by his mistakes.
