No spin, no bull... Just a brief insight into current events.

I dunno. My mood is changing after last season. As it stands, that is one hell of a squad...
And I'm feeling the pride, 'n dare I say it, love melting back into this cold heart.

Just reflect for a moment. Only a few years ago, Gabbidon was our main signing on a free. Wow.

Great to see McClaren working his stuff out there.

Times have changed. Longer term, I'm feeling happy with where we are heading...
I agree, but, i can guarantee as soon as the season starts we will only see johnson for a maximun of 5 games. Pre seasons 1 thing , competitive games something else. Good to see anton and Faurlin back . Reckon they will have good seasons

Nothing bad about any of this, but it's pre-season training.... the same as any other club's pre-season training. Get a grip, please.

It didn't take long did it ? For some grey, drab, limping cynicism to come out...

That wasn't grey or damp or even cynical - just realism. How much pre-season training have you ever actually witnessed? All I was saying that people shouldn't wet themselves because they've seen a pre-season training video of players, er, pre-season training. As I prefaced it with 'nothing bad about of any of this', then what exactly is your point?

As ever, we move onto the 'prove' it level of support and knowledge... "How much pre-season have you actually witnessed?"

Undoubtedly, not as much as you. Apologies for getting excited again, and i'll try to 'get a grip...' In the future.

A certain Mr Kenny is proved right sometimes... Tin pot indeed.

Nothing to do with proving level of support in the slightest... so I apologise for not making myself clear. I have witnessed numerous pre-season training sessions of many different clubs and that looked like pretty much any other, except with all the boring bits and whinging edited out. It's great to look forward to our prospects of going up next season but my point was that judging it on a few minutes of edited footage showing the players doing what every other professional footballer, more or less, does, is a tad naive and a little too happy clappy even for such a positive soul as me. But hey, as Paddy Kenny probably also said: "Small things, please small minds", so please go ahead and orgasmigate yourself over such exciting footage - my favourite bit was when Steve McLaren wrote something down on his notepad - cinematic gold

Happy right now to be all of the above...

I'm a fairly new poster, and don't live in London, so please forgive my niave, small minded childish ramblings.
Simple folk, us, in the Black Country...

Man, I just got so excited the other day when I saw the first training video from Devon.

I never knew they run around so much... Especially that Robert Zamora chappy...

I just hope AJ stays fit for a while, he could be a handful for defences this season
