Seems likely we will have a number of players with us who for whatever reason didn't perform last season. Could the Championship give them the chance to kick start their Rs careers? Was thinking along lines of following:
Zamora - injured large chunk of last season but if fit and looked after could be a top striker at Championship level.
Hoillett - poor form and injuries but prior to Rangers curse rated one of top young players in the country.
Park - A regular squad player at Manure but niggly injuries resulted in not doing much last season.
AJ - yet another one who had an injury nightmare. Has had fair few problems over last few seasons but, like Bobby, potentially a top striker.
Ferdinand - I actually thought he was decent first season but was off form last year. Perhaps a fresh start a division lower could be just what he needs and we need defenders.
Faurlin - if he has properly recovered from his injury we know what he can do.
Mackie - didn't really happen for him last term although personally thought he did ok first season up.
SWP - unlike many think a decent player who was very inconsistent for us but could tear Championship to shreds. Also seems to actually enjoy being at club!
I'm sure I've forgotten one or two and a few I haven't included such as Adel and Diakite because I think it unlikely they will be here. Those listed above though should feel they have something to prove. If some of them go ahead and prove themselves we could take some stopping. We might actually win some games which for those without long memories is when we score more than the opposition. We used to do that sometimes although not enough to upset others.
