not a fan of people that pick and choose who they support every couple of years. Now if he would have said im a fan and will remain one i wouldn't have said anything.

    and bullying? Really...

football and supporting a club is like a tribal thing in this country so it is built into us to find these actions weird.
Northolt, I think you (and some others) have already made it clear that you "find these actions weird". So for what reason other than bullying and harassment would you continually respond to each new fan that says he thinks or hopes that he will be supporting QPR long-term, but that it depends on his experience with QPR?

Do you really think it is reasonable or realistic to expect all new fans to immediately make a lifelong commitment to support QPR?

The way I see it, all you are doing is marking territory.

I can't become a hardcore fan overnight. Nobody can. Some of you lot keep saying you dont want me here. How is that not bullying? Who wants to to stay in a place where youre not wanted. Im am a fan and i am here to stay. Ill do my best and thats all you can ask.

If our club is not a welcoming place for fans, players, employees etc. We are going to move forward slower. To me more pieces are getting into place. All we need to do is supporting. Being negative will help no one.

Dunno about Norths, but for me personally i am hoping Park moves on (purely because of his poor efforts on the ptich and imo he is finished as a half decent player) and i am also quite sure all the Park fanboys such as you and Madara etc will move on with him to his next club. If not then i will be dissapointed as i feel we dont need fans such as you and Madara. You should have 100% commitment to the CLUB not follow a player around like a lovesick fan boy. Mind you with this new stadium TF has planned we may need tourists and fans like you to fill it....hmmmmm just wait on stand by and we will let you know.

Just gutting what my club is turning in to if we have "fans" such as you ....kind of thing that worries me about Fernandes long term plans.

Because you dont support the club, you support Park. Nothing personal mate but this is how it works over here....if Park moved to another club would you follow Park or this new club? We both know you would and this excludes you from becoming a proper QPR fan. Do we really want those kind of fans? even if it is to fill a daft half empty stadium? in my eyes no we dont. Proper fans only ...saw a pair of Koreans at Loftus Road last season in Man UTD shirts ffs! not wanted in my opinion and i think the majority of QPR fans will agree (might get a few PC leftie types who will always back a minority....theres a few on here)

If on the other hand you stop supporting Park and started caring more for the club then you would be welcomed. No matter what TF wants at the moment QPR is NOT a global brand its a small club in West London with a small but strong loyal fanbase (long may it remain so). Last thing we want is to become one of them plastic clubs with plastic fans and that is what you represent.

Think he retired in his mind after he left UTD

As a displaced R, I rely pretty much on TV viewing only now & the best I can do to support the club from this side of the Atlantic is to buy some gear from the online store every now & again. Despite the financial backing the club may receive from the current owners, they're unlikely to allow the club to be a bottomless pit into which they continue to throw money & I don't think the hard core fan base is big enough to make a significant difference. I think it's fair to say that there are "degrees of fanship" - despite how long I've been a supporter, do I have more rights than the guys who just became a fan 5 years ago but who's been at every home game in that 5 years? It doesn't really matter, a QPR fan is a QPR fan & we need the temporary fans too. There will always be a hard centre, with hard cores surrounding that centre & the further we get from the centre, the more fragile the commitment will be. However, there aren't enough of the hard core crew, living close enough to fill a 45k stadium every week so we're going to need a big peripheral fan base to grow those numbers over time. The ability to tap into the Asian market with the new ownership may also be of significance going forward. If we have any ambition to be a "big club" we need to get our act & our attitude together to nurture & encourage people from all walks of life to support the Rs. I don't care what race, colour, creed or religion you are if you're wearing hoops, you're an R. As far as I'm concerned you're very welcome to the flock & I hope you're all still here next year & for many years to come.

Even "fans" that temporarily support a club while their hero plays for them then moving on with the hero when he goes? Those are not even football fans. They support/follow an individual not the club. We dont want any of them thanks. You on the other hand are obviously a QPR fan no matter where you live in the world becuse you support "the Club". If an English guy supports only the clubs that David Beckham currently plays for would he be a welcome addition to a clubs fanbase? i would think not.Also..not every fan wants QPR to become a global brand and have a stadium full of plastics and tourists. We have been taking the **** out of Foolham for years for the same thing (not the global brand part :-) ).

just think if Park and Tubby tarbs leaves, we'll be left with 3 page threads of everyone agreeing.
