Just think it would be interesting to get fans perspective during the game on what they would do to open the game up or get the goal we need etc see if were all thinking the same things. Not sure how feasible it is but think it would be a decent experiment to tryLast edited by West Acton; 08-07-2013, 04:47 PM.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with criticism as long as it's constructive.
Not all, but fortunately many of the posts here come under this category, so it's good that the club's media team are aware of this thread, as I know for a fact they genuinely do want to listen and take it on board.

The twitter feed is run reasonably well IMO - They speak in a good manner, building a good reputation online with a high number of followers. No real complaints, on top of this I dont think having fans do the social media is a good thing, HOWEVER, a fan takeover day isnt so bad (e.g. Match Day Coms etc, even make this into a comp to do it, its a match day exp in its own right?)
Coming from a social background (from a work prospective) they dont run it badly, but they can obviously improve it in several ways.
1. One way would be to run competitions more regulary (Recently they have done some good Fan interaction stuff, but not enough off it)
2. We talk about BRAND a lot off late (The whole Asia, Brazil thing) - It does surprise me that we are not exploiting YouTube a lot. Get a couple of keen young interns in to do some vids all year round. Man City is a great example of this.
I seriously think there is lots more to offer, but im not getting paid to do the job... So I will let Ian Taylor do the rest!

I follow them on twitter and as 4life says they come across good. I do feel sorry for Taylor on occasions as there are one or two of our higher profile know it all fans who think their views on QPR represents the masses constantly on his back and I think he does a decent job restraining himself as they really are like stalkers!!! if he's reading this he will know who they are
Twitter only gives 140 characters but reckon if I was him a response of 'go f cuk yourself you know it all holearse your a proper bell end' I think that might summarise what Ian may be thinking on occasions

Also given the media team is an interactive arm of the club with its main function interaction with fans I personally would not be against them signing up and having a user account on this and other Rangers messageboards (puts on tin hat and ducks for cover!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Obviously there would be topics that they could not comment on but threads such as this it would be good to have their direct input on (although I accept they have the forum meetings now which is good)
