Apparently the town of Wigan has gone Grant Holt mad..there's bunting in the streets and he's boosted employment in the town too

      Heres Grant having just signed!

And they gave him a new sticker for his car!

He knows where the net is, he can take a whack, and he give's a sh!t..... Unlike most of the ponces that currently occupy our squad places.

Harry would be mad not to get on the phone to him with a Championship campaign coming up. So much is at stake.

And I don't care if he's a fat cheat...... as long as he's our fat cheat.

Lets be having it straight we spent all last season and the all close season moaning about having players who do not give a s hit and are unwilling to put there heart and body on the line for the hoops yet a player comes up who is renound for that and we turn our noses up as he is not good enough yet many still pine after Adel who portrays every attribute which we have moaned about within our squad for over 12months in short the 'I don't care attitude'

Yes Holt plays the game on the edge of the rule book but so what!! do you know what type of performance you are going to get from him week in week out Yes, Is he prepared to put his body on the line for the team Yes, Does he care when he goes on the pitch Yes, Does he stand up and represent his teammates Yes and finally does he throw himself to the ground (what seems to offend most people in this thread) Yes he does but then again I give you Adel and Mbia who also like to go down easy so why is it ok for them to do that but not Holt?? Double standards me thinks

Holt is not everyones cup of tea but attitude, effort and Team ethic alone he would be a major improvement on what we have had in recent times

But most of our fans on here are p*ssed off with both of these.....Anyway bottom line you love Holt and some of us hate him and no matter what either of us say will change the other.
Afraid you and other Holt fans are gonna have to cry into your pillows cause he's signed for Wigwam ....thank f*ck!!!

Think love is a bit strong Dave but Im happy to judge a player on more then just the bits which irk me and base a decision on the whole package.

As I said earlier Warnock never had many fans before he came and I have no doubt if his appointment had not been so swift we would have had threads such as this saying hes not a QPR manager Well it turned out he was not only a QPR manager but one of the best we have had
