Of course if you believe Fernandes, Redknapp, the Anzhi Chairman & Manager back in January, we were NOT paying Samba £100k.

But with Cesar 80k, Bosingwa 65k, Traore 40k, Ferdinand 42k, Barton 72k, Diakite 65k, M'Bia 55k, Granero 75k & Park 75k ALL being made available, there's still around £570k a week to clear. I reckon 5 or 6 of those will leave before 31st August.

Doubt very much Hewitt was on anymore than 1k a week. At Harrow he would have been on 150quid a week max. Just to be a pro and not work for a living would of been enough for him.

Fair enough Mellow, and I tend to agree that some (possibly most) are not accurate, as I indicated with Samba's.
But in the abscence of any other published figures, I went with the ones I'd seen in the scummy Sun, and they do like to sensationalise.

It also assumes that we have NO relegation/wage reduction clauses in any of the listed players, which I suspect (& hope) is not true.

But without doubt, we've spent a sh!tload on Transfer fees, Agents fees and Wages over the last 2 years.

TF confirmed max we pay is 65k a week.

Hewitt was on 2-3k max. I remember HR said Townsend was on only 3k/week at Spurs so cant see Hewitt from non league getting paid more!
