To be fair the Anzhi director really rates him & said he's one of the top 5 centre backs in the world when he left.

It was a gamble that unfortunately failed to pay off, but it was worth taking. Had he been fully fit he might have performed better. Also, with a bit of luck, QPR could have won at Villa and home to Wigan which would have meant going into the last 6 games with a chance to stay up. Had that happened, we would all have been very glad he signed.Comment
