  • Chris Samba Officially rejoins Anzhi for a club record undisclosed fee

    Just tweeted by @officialQPR
1 down, how many more will be sold?

2 down. ****ty Cisse left too.

Imma take a wild guess, 12million, call me crazy & tell me I heard Redknapp say it on Talksport but I'll stick with 12m. Incredible to think little QPR have spend & sold a player for 12million. Mile Sheron I think it was was our record fee 2.4 was it? And Sir Les to Newcastle for 6million.

    Them records lasted for years
    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
    And many more mistakes

Harry said 2 days ago we recouped our money so imma think it is at least 12mil. I'm not surprised though because as soon as he left, anzhi started failing. Seems they were desperate

The odd thing is most people wanted him here, but I would guess most people are now glad he's gone.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

To be fair the Anzhi director really rates him & said he's one of the top 5 centre backs in the world when he left.

It's amazing he didn't do well for us but that's football, not many players are a safe bet

Smoke and mirrors I reckon. Conspiracy theory that it was only ever a loan deal with £12million perm should we of stayed up.
Definitely something fishy about this one.

I thought exactly the same, would the books show this?

There could have been something in his contract that says he goes back to Anzhi if we get relegated.

It was a gamble that unfortunately failed to pay off, but it was worth taking. Had he been fully fit he might have performed better. Also, with a bit of luck, QPR could have won at Villa and home to Wigan which would have meant going into the last 6 games with a chance to stay up. Had that happened, we would all have been very glad he signed.

Yes, i can almost guarantee 100% that 12 mil did not leave any bank accounts.

Hardly a conspiracy, just good business sense? The papers blew up that we over paid as we were desparate..looks like this wasnt ever the case. Well done the club.
