I think even £3m is ok. With the £12m from Samba, we can get a good striker but we need to be quick. Grant Holt is the type of striker we need.
    QPR fan since1987

As long as there's a clause that we can having him back on loan for the season then I'd take the deal offered..... Other than that they can stick it up their 'arris.....

not that i'm a big Parker fan but what about Parker Townsend & £3m that would ease the pain of losing Loic a bit

Nothing would ease the pain of losing Loic, except signing some strikers. Blimey we've let DJ and Bothroyd go and if Loic left also, we'd be left with AJ on crutches to lead our line.....

£3m is way too low, Loic will be actually£20m striker in 2years time,he has what a lot of strikers don't have, the end finish. He would score 30 goals for us next season. We suffered last season as we had no goal scorers so this season must be Goals Goals Goals

Towndsend isnt worth 5mil off the back of 10 decent games. Also dont believe anyone will be in for Remy right now.

With you on this all the way!

I think he could break the record for the most hat-tricks in a season.

Negotiating with Daniel Levy is the pits, he's going in at a ridiculous offer knowing Remy is worth £15-20m depending on how well he does in a top five side - but also knowing how desperate we are to sign Townshend. He loves f*cking with clubs and throwing in a spanner at the last minute to see how far he can push it.

We'd agreed a deal for Bassong on the last day of our first transfer window for £2m. Only personal terms had to be sorted. When Bassong arrived at the ground (albeit with Spurs expecting to do a deal for a CB which fell through) Levy phoned up Philip B and simply said 'If you still want Bassong its now £4m or the deal is off. Take it or leave it'.

Levy can go f*ck himself if he thinks he can rob us.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

I can't see anything happening with Loic until the court case is settled. Who is going to buy a player who might not even be playing next season?

Exactly, and the case is not until September, so he is going to remain with us until at least January I'd have thought. So IF he is found not guilty then he could well bang in the goals we need to set us up to go up. If not, and we are well off the pace then we could sell up. Win-win really.

In my eyes a quality striker who can win games for you is a lot more important than a decent winger.

I can't see they are going to want to keep Townsend as he is way down the pecking order after Bale, Lennon, Paulinho etc, so put in a decent offer with the Samba money, say £4m, and see how we get on
