he maybe a brilliant player but hes another whos comming to the end of his career,why noy buy a younger player someone we can develop,and then hopefully sell on later for big money

The answer is........ money.
The club (and especially Harry) want to get right back up to the Premier League this season. They don't want to spend time nurturing and developing young talent in the hope that they come good and that they can then impress in the PL if we go up. They would rather get good proven players in that have a good chance to get us where we want to be quickly. I don't necessarily agree with that approach but from a business point of view we really need to be back among the big money if we want that new stadium etc. anytime this century.

IF he arrives now as is rumored then within 45 minutes of his first game everyone will be wondering what all the negativity was about because he is excellent and miles better than the current CMs.
