Harry said he had received a notification the same as anyone else. Cannot imagine it was sent to his agent. Didn't he also tweet something about being able to do preseason anywhere, which indicated he knew he was supposed to back.
To me this indicates that there is now a new regime at the Club. Under Waddock we read that players turned up for training when they wanted. Not sure what the situation was under Hughes. However it seems that Harry and the current management are not prepared to put up with this. We have already read about players turning up late or having attitude and being fined. It seems like Joey thought he could just get away with doing what he wanted and has now found this not to be the case.
