    29 years old,

allowed to run down his contract and not offered a new one.

spent 3 years at a mid table championship team.

the word uninspiring comes to mind.

Pretty sure McLaren left the Riverside long before Bailey arrived.

Hard working (if I remember correct central) midfielder, will always give 110%. Nothing fancy at all but if we're about to create a hard working team he is a Dezza type of player. It looks as if Parker - Bailey - Faurlin - Dezza could be fighting for the two defensive central positions..

With our luck tracking players we'd be better off tracking Bigfoot. At least we could make some money on the media rights!

Thought he was more attacking midfielder, average championship player and never prem class

Always rated Nicky Bailey, decent Championship player on his day a better player than Faurlin who is also not Prem class

This guy is a good player. Bags of energy, tenacity & bite & also scores a few. Pal of mine at Charlton knows him well & said the move up north knocked him for 6. Maybe a London club would bring out the best in him again. I'd be well pleased if we got him. Relatively cheap salary wise also I'd imagine as he's fallen off the radar a bit in recent times.

To coin a cliche but deffo the sort of player Redknapp could bring the best out in
