I think its great we are giving it a shot, if it works then brilliant, if not then at least we are trying. Acadamys can take years to produce talent - there could be 5 Cristiano Patels in their under 11's team for all we know!
Actually there's 2 posting on this thread...one of them is a QPR fan.

So yes, Am ground zero here. So no more stereotyping us Indians like shop owners, Cab drivers or all wearing Turbans or the last name is Patel!! We pay for your Remy's & Samba's :evilish:

I hope this picks up pace, the reserve players can be used here in Chennai Rangers FC (CRFC) as confirmed by Tony. We have a Max of 4 foriegners slot in the Starting 16 for each match. Should be good as long as we dont recieve Barton or Redknapp

                    i'm sick of this circus

this is all PR for tony's businesses. since the day of the takeover our policy has been directed at creating publicity & exposure rather than a side that play good football

i mean really let's not kid ourselves, how beneficial will this be for our youngsters? why not just set up a relationship with a stable team in belgium/holland/switzerland/france etc ??

I think you'll find that the current board have invested in a lot of money on the playing side last 2 years, wouldn't you agree?

If you knew that we would have failed, how much did you bet on us to go down?

So you don't think signings like Barton, SWP BZ, Green Hoilett Granero, Remy...do i need to go on?.....You don't think that these signings were brought in to help us play good football?

I can see where you want to take this, however I think you've got a little carried away.

Come back tomorrow when you've slept on it and give us a calmer insight into where you want to take this post.

With regards to Investment on playing staff, you really can't blame Tony for that, as he's backed 2 average managers to the hilt.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

                              Agree 100%

Its all about profile and marketing to Tony, thats what he is good at tbf. Sh1t as a football chairman but good at the PR, marketing side of things. Knocks out a ****** good tweet when he has too and lets not forget he stickered up one of his planes for us and gave us the worlds first 3D programme!!!

Cannot believe it. Qpr have been the envy of lower league premier ship clubs with the money invested into the squad. frankly tell me who has the balls to get Samba in for a reported 100k pw, grenaro, bosingwa (steal was part of playing 11 at chelsea, julio cesar,hoilett... ?
all these are top quality premiership players.
apart from these you have had hughes and harry supported with their own shopping list.
Championship expects the club to run away in the league and get promoted back.
