what i dont get ,as we obviously had a few boys in the 80s , was why the Loft wasn`t defended more when Chelsea came over , i know shear weight of numbers and all that , but they were all over LR.

chelsea had a cracking lot in those days-huge numbers. we were not a match.numbers game. some of the maddest pple ever at rangers then-proper loons-well known around london. some game lads up my way tried to fill the later vaccum...still a numbers game.

Because we didn't have the numbers that they had, we had the C mob and Ladbroke Grove, all in all about a hundred that you could rely on and a few more when the big games come up, remember Spurs at home on Bush Green numbers came out for that one.

The thing is, before the ruck started, everyone was full of bravado, but when it was close, everyone sh!t themselves. The fear took hold and you wanted to be anywhere but there.

I don't think most people looked or it, it just happened. After all, apart from the showing off aspect, who really wants to get punched in the mouth?
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

I remember him and about 15-20 R's trying to take the north bank one year, was a funny sight. They were lead around the pitch after they're rucking.

Is he still about?? Matured a bit?

What I don't understand is 3 - 4 years ago we had a handy firm and there seemed to be hundreds of youth coming through, where has everybody gone and why ?

He had some trouble over this way & now lives over in the east and knock's around with west ham. Saw him at play off final and my mate still chats to him every now a again.

OB banned a few of them for just knocking around with known faces
