how do you expect anyone to have evidence to support this ? Or is it a fair assumption to make ,when you have a cross section of our support come on this site , and i would hazard a guess to say the majority dont like the new badge and a good few have stated they havnt bought merchandise because of this ?

Is it just me, or did anyone else see more than a few QPR fans wearing something with the current club crest on?
Seems to be popular enough, from what I could see on a matchday.

I own a fair bit of QPR stuff, but not one single item with that hideous abortion on it. It is great news that Tony has realized how important this is to many fans and has taken action to rectify it. The club have certainly lost merchandise sales to me and it seems as though I am not alone!

It's not that I'm opposed to change,
Nor that I find this particular change hideous,
Nor that it looks like an out of place ice-cream stain on the shirt rather than something that belongs,
It is what the fooking thing stands for that I can't stomach: two of the most objectionable individuals to ever have been associated with the club.

            That's all.

Nobody is suggesting that there aren't some people don't like the badge or that a few of those are boycotting merchandise. I'd just question whether there are enough to be demanding a change.

If a few people don't like the new badge, (or Tony turns out to be a wrong'un), and you do (or don't care, like the majority) would you want them to get it changed again?

Much as I don't massively care what the QPR badge looks like, I'd prefer it not to be changed just because a few people have taken upon themselves to speak for what they perceive to be the majority of QPR fans.

I don't presume to speak for anybody but myself! But it seems to be fairly well documented that there are MANY QPR fans who hate the current badge. Just look at this thread! And, for somebody who says he doesn't care, you have quite a lot to say on the topic! If you don't care, whilst I and others do care, why not just accept a change that is obviously important to us?

I've grown to like it and it looks modern, I didn't want the change at all. Changing it now is a waste of time & money.

I do agree that items with both badges should be on sale.

If they are going to change it, I'd love to see the old badge but a modern one.

'Many' by no means equals majority. Those who don't want a change are less likely to be vocal about it.

You may well be right, but I predict that if a new badge is designed there will be a sizeable number who will be asking for it to be changed almost immediately.

With the greatest respect there are only about 4/5 people on this thread who have refused to buy anything because of the badge. Cost the club about a grand max? Not saying there aren't more but of a fan base of say 25000 people currently I would be extremely surprised If any more than 5% of people refused to buy merchandise because of it.

It's changing next year anyway so this debate is a bit pointless!!

What if the fans who dislike this one dislike the next one.........do we change again and again and again, then you'll find if they do like it there'll be others that don't and on and on and on

                            That is the truth though.

To be fair we dont really know if the majority want to change the badge or not.
But there definately needs to be some old badge merch in the club shop.

Maybe put it to the vote of members/season ticket holders like Palace did with their badge ( and theyve ended up with a slightly more modern take on their 80s badge )
