  • Barton back at QPR

Controversial midfielder Joey Barton is back training with the west London side.

The 30-year-old had been on a season-long loan to Ligue 1 side Marseille after something of a turbulent time at the west London club since he joined the Hoops in August 2011.

A spokesman for the club confirmed to SportsDirect News that Barton was back with squad and had started pre-season training which began on Monday.

They made him an offer, but it was one "he could refuse."

IMO it's a matter of time till he leaves, who blinks first & I don't think it'll be QPR
          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
          And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

I think he'd struggle to lift AJ that high.

Nice to see fans finally agreeing, i've been saying the blokes a pathetic excuse of a professional footballer for months.
It's just a shame the great Harry past it couldn't see it and played him every game.

Either a cigar stub or take a bite of the malteser. Bloke is a cancer to this football club!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Covered in chocolate I hope, you want to stay away from pure healthy stuff
"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."

All but Traore. He'll be as bad in the championship as he was in the premiership. And I can't see Diakite coming back.
