Said himself that he was not fit at all when he came. A pre-season will work wonders in that respect. Like Youzef, I doubt he is outbound, at least I sincerly hope he isn“t..

Well i swear i saw at least 2 headers from him cleared of the line from corner kicks, so i would say the statement above IS BSYou should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

It's hard to believe that this is the player everybody was raving about when he signed in January. For months there was posts saying "Why don't we sign Samba." He clearly wasn't fit when he came in January and went into a club which was bottom of the league and really wasn't going anywhere (unless a miracle had happened). It's not too surprising he wasn't at his best. Give him a good preseason and I think he will be a different player this year. I've not seen any rumours about anybody him being for sale.

I agree with Matty saying that the problem lies with the club and that most of these players when moved on will no doubt be awesome.Last edited by OneEyedWilly; 29-06-2013, 01:50 PM.

Dawson was valued about the same and is 3 times the defender that Samba is but unfortunately for us was not motivated by money enough to come and play for a bottom 3 team last season. Only managed 8 appearances for us last season and how many did this top CB stand out in? People saying the big lump is unfit and takes more than 3 months to get fit so lets see how he does next season. I actually think he is a good Championship player but being a £12 million valuedPremiership class player in your eyes he should win player of the season...guess we will see but best case scenario in my eyes is we find some other mugs to pay £12 million for him and we go out and buy 3 defenders of equal standard.

The main problem with Samba is clearly fitness.
He could do with shifting about 3 stone in weight and that is me trying to be kind.
His turning circle is similar to that of an oil tanker and the rest of his assets become irrelevant because of it.
Playing as a centre half in what is the fastest league in the world is clearly going to make him look woeful in his current state.
Personally think we should sell him, whatever his wages are it's definitely zero value for money and he is 1 player that could easily be replaced if we had a scouting system that worked.I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I wouldn't say Samba is in the top 5 but then we are not a top club to attract those types of players, we would have to pay a lot more than some top clubs to get a top 5 CB. So comparing values of players is silly because clubs such as ours are always going to have to pay extra.

takes the geezer 25 minutes to turn around in the dressing room at half time. On top of that his distribution is poor and he looks terrified when in possesion. Just saying if get offered decent money then sell him and buy a couple of equally good defenders.
