Cait, as Funky says, you would avoid having to sit next to a fat Geordie drinking Tennants.

Although, there is nothing to stop a fat lager drinking QPR fan sitting next to you!!!

Whats the point spending all that money when you get that at like £60-£100 return. Madness.

This is for those that can afford it...if true. I am not sure why so many people get their knickers in a twist at club getting a little extra money out of it's high earning fans or their friends. Makes no difference to us apart from maybe a bit of extra cash in the coffers as we are attracting higher spending top end fans. I am sure they make a profit out of the flights.

Anyway continue to whinge about what sounds like a good idea to boost the clubs appeal.

If any of you were multi-millionnaires, don't tell me it is something you wouldn't consider.

Of course a lot also depends on how many mu... sorry, high earning fans take up the offer.

If, as I suspect not many, judging by the lack of seats sold in the W12 area and the lack of executive box sales, the club could lose money.

The refurbishments to the SA Rd stand and the newly revamped boxes cost a lot of money and don't appear to have paid off.

The more money you have the more you spend. I used to get the mega bus to places as it was £2.50 return, now I earn more I get the train everywhere. People sitting on the mega bus are probably calling me a mug, but it's all about expenditure within your means to your expectations.

£1500 for them is like us paying a £15 taxi instead of catching a bus for £1.50. All about choices.

As I said, no real complaints if they can get people to pay that and make it finiacillly worthwhile for the club.

But I suspecr that the club will spend more on providing these luxuries than it actually gets in return i.e the W12, CCC Boxes etc.

Let's say the club has sold two boxes at £70k compared to 10 at £10k . £40k up, but the cost of refurbishing probably cost more than £300K - at the time the club was saying that around £1M was spent last pre-season on the stadium.

Perhaps if QPR get to the Prem League these boxes will be sold out, but until then, (judging by the lack of spending on the team and manager changes, this could take another 5-10 years).

So for now, all these new measures are actually costing the club money.

                                ERM

ERM im not sure if this is a wind up or true, but if it is true i actually think its kind of marvelous because
we are all just normal fans,we are all the children of qpr fans.my dad was a qpr fan so i became a qpr fan
what gianni did for our club was to introduce flavio and bernie
but a true story that ive picked up from my arsenal fan friend is that right now in arsenal directorship theres a russian millionair who wants to own arsenal outright
he wants to do a abromovich and give arsenal 800 000 000 for players he currently owns 20 per cent of the club
but the old guard at arsenal wont allow him to ever own arsenal outright
imagine if one day he walks out on arsenal and joins our directorship
he then buys the club and installs hundreds of millions of pounds of players
                                we would be so happy
so thats the importance of developing this millionaire type fan base
we as normal fans cant buy massive amounts of players but people like abromovitch can
SO THATS MY THOUGHTS ON AIR QPR LETS BRING IT ON
