Think not Ninj.....I think it means he has agreed to rip up his remaining contract and we won't ask for a fee

He should be given one last chance as he has been injured. One year contract subject to extension based on performance does not harm. Will bag lots of goals If fully fit. He did it with Ipswich last season.

The Insider is looking good so far.
Let's not drive him away as he is clearly connected.
Hopefully he will take W12s banter in the spirit it is intended.

£4m transfer fee + £millions in wages/paying up his contract. Jeez, that's the trouble buying 30+ year-old strikers - we've still got plenty left as well!

Weigh that up against the money he gained us by giving us an extra year the PL by keeping us up & I'd say it didn't work out too bad, financially.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Agree to an extent, but then he was poor last season and ultimately put off the inevitable.

Glad hes gone, very lazy, only liked balls in behind and he had very little else to his game, I was up at WBA last season for cup game and agree it was a shocking display, didnt look interested at all.
Sure the club havent paid him up too.

His contract wouldnt have been paid up fully, it would have been a nominal amount both parties were happy with.

Fair play to him, he didnt drag this out and refuse to go (ala Barton), nor did he talk bad about us in the press (again, ala Barton).

His goals that kept us up certainly made his investment worthwhile, regardless of how it eventually ended. Wish him luck and a tad sad as I really liked him when his head was right...Ole Ole Ole Oleeeee Cisseeeeee Cisssseeeee!
